Q. Will my hair drop?
This is a common concern that many women have experienced, you pay to have your hair done and it drops right out in a matter of hours!
Wedding hair styling is different to just going to the salon
for a quick up do.
Preparation is key:
I start all of my brides with a curl set no matter what style they are having.
This adds product to the hair, volume and curl. This is then left while I prepare the bridesmaids and I come back when they have been completed and finish the bride’s hair.
By this time her set has cooled and I am ready to start putting her style together.
Q. What Products are used:
Using the correct products makes a huge difference on the day of a wedding. It adds elasticity to the hair so I can play around with it and keep it in shape. The hair is then finished correctly with the right amount of product
to keep it looking like that well into the night. The products i use have a humidity shield in them, hair is kept in place all day and all night.
Q. Should I shampoo my hair the morning of ?
NO unless you have been advised by Tracey to do so she will give you specific instructions the week before on when to shampoo your hair, this is very important that you follow her guidelines so she has the best start on the day to preparing your look.
Shampooing the morning of your wedding will cause the hair to be limp and repel product, it doesn’t get the volume desired and can require a lot more work.
Please follow instruction carefully:
Even if you know you have oily hair. I have all sorts of magic products in my bag that will stop this from happening.
Trust me please, i would never let you feel self conscious on the day and with years of experience you must trust my process.
Q.How long will it take on the day?
I insist on Trials for all of my brides for a few reasons:
Firstly it shows the look you are after on the day and what I have to work with. We then know if we need to purchase extensions or hair pieces to complete the style, and the timing,
this way your morning is as relaxed as it could possibly be.
Q. When should I have a trial?
I suggest doing a trial as early as possible in the wedding planning process – once you have purchased your dress we can do a hair and makeup trial, we want your hair & makeup to fit nicely with the style of your dress and the theme of your wedding.
Q. Can you do extra guests hair is they ask for it?
Of course we can but we do make sure the bridal party have plenty of time before taking on extra guests. If this fits in with the brides schedule then of course we can book extra people in.
Q. How far do you travel?
